- Design, generate, and characterize lentiviral vectors for use in cell therapy.
- Utilize common software including GraphPad Prism, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and FlowJo to analyze, record, and present your results.
- Communicate detailed observations on experiments and assist in the preparation of technical reports, summaries, and protocols.
- Work both independently and collaboratively, and effectively plan, organize work activities, and prioritize task completion.
- Undergraduate or Master’s degree-level coursework covering the concepts behind immunotherapy, and cell therapy.
- Familiarity with molecular biology methods, including primer design, PCR, gel electrophoresis, plasmid DNA preparation, cloning, and sequence analysis using SnapGene or similar software.
- Experience with aseptic cell culture and understanding of DNA transfection, and lentiviral transduction methods.
- Preferred knowledge of additional methods including DNA extraction and real-time PCR analysis, flow cytometry, and bioinformatics.
