Arcetyp LLC is a growing small business that provides a broad range of consulting services to US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients. Services include Management & IT Consulting, Program & Project Management, and Professional & Admin Services.
We are recruiting an experienced National Guard G1 Archived Records Specialist to join our team. Work is onsite in Marietta, GA.
POSITION DUTIES: Primary job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Delivers customer service for the G-1.
- Assists current and former service members with the retrieval of their archived records.
- Requires a strong attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to effectively navigate military records rules and procedures.
- Manages personnel and medical record requests, ensuring timely and compliant retrieval, processing, and distribution of these records, while maintaining strict confidentiality and data protection standards.
- Retrieves and processes personnel and medical records from systems like iPERMS and HRR.
- Responds to inquiries from service members and the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and ensures records are distributed in compliance with ARNG guidelines.
- Conducts quality control checks on records, updates tracking systems, and handles administrative tasks such as preparing reports and managing correspondence.
- Maintains accurate records, meets deadlines, and provides excellent customer service.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Applicants MUST have this experience:
- Experience in records management, archival services, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of military records systems, including iPERMS, HRR, and SRAS.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and data protection standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other tracking systems.
- Strong research, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs or military records systems.
- Familiarity with ARNG record retention policies and procedures.
WORK AUTHORIZATION:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
