We are recruiting an experienced National Guard ID Card Specialist to join our team. Work is onsite in Marietta, GA.
POSITION DUTIES: Primary job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manages and operates the identification card section at the Joint Forces Headquarters (JFHQ).
- Serves as a critical resource for personnel across all service components, handling a high volume of updates to the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and issuing ID cards to military personnel, dependents, and eligible members across the state of Georgia.
- Requires thorough knowledge of federal regulations and policies governing DEERS, RAPIDS, and ID card issuance, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy, timeliness, and security.
- Manages ID card and CAC issuance requests, verifies eligibility, and ensures compliance with DEERS and RAPIDS policies.
- Supervise a small team, handle customer inquiries, and conduct inventory checks for CAC-related supplies.
- Performs routine maintenance on RAPIDS workstations and printers, addresses security incidents, and ensures all tasks are completed within established deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and security standards.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Applicants MUST have this experience:
- Proficiency in DEERS, RAPIDS, and related DoD systems.
- Strong understanding of federal regulations related to ID card issuance, eligibility verification, and security protocols.
- Experience supervising small teams and handling administrative duties in a high-volume setting.
- Ability to manage customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and security.
- Ability to manage sensitive information and ensure its security.
- Knowledge of military ID card issuance processes and entitlements.
- Knowledge of DoD security protocols and data protection requirements.
