We are recruiting an experienced National Guard Incentives Termination Specialist to join our team. Work is onsite in Marietta, GA.
POSITION DUTIES: Primary job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Accurate and timely processing of all incentives within the Georgia Army National Guard (GAARNG).
- Researches and executes actions necessary to confirm eligibility, recommend payments, and handle the suspension, reinstatement, or termination of incentives.
- Requires a detailed and accurate approach to processing incentive terminations, ensuring compliance with all Army National Guard (ARNG) policies and guidelines.
- Reviews and processes incentive termination requests, verifies eligibility and required documentation, and updates records in the Guard Incentive Management System (GIMS).
- Monitors termination payments, addresses discrepancies, and responds to service members' inquiries about eligibility and payment statuses.
- Conducts audits, prepares regular reports, and ensures all documentation is stored securely and in compliance with ARNG regulations.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Applicants MUST have this experience:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to process and verify complex documents within set timeframes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for addressing service member inquiries and discrepancies.
- Proven ability to work in a highly regulated environment with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
EDUCATION:
- Completion of the Incentive Manager course (distance learning phase) online at https://guardu.ng.mil
- Completion of the Comptrollers and Fiscal Law course at https://jagu.army.mil
- Completion of the Incentive Manager course (resident phase) at NGPEC for continued access to the Guard Incentive Management System (GIMS).
WORK AUTHORIZATION:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
