We are recruiting an experienced Windows / Industrial Control Systems System Administrator to join our team. Work is in the Philadelphia Navy Yard. This is a full time multi-month engagement.
POSITION DUTIES. Primary job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to manage and maintain critical control systems infrastructure at our Land-Based Engineering Site (LBES).
- Provides Tier 3 technical support across multiple vendor platforms and is responsible for the secure administration of HVAC DDC, Chilled Water, and Process Cooling Water facility systems.
- Establish enterprise-level system configurations, implementing endpoint security solutions, and serving as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Working closely with vendors and contractors.
- Ensures seamless integration of new systems while maintaining strict DoD security standards.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Complete all work at the computing environment level.
- Configure and maintain enterprise system management tools, monitoring solutions, and software distribution systems.
- Manage user accounts, access controls, and support vendor access requirements while maintaining security protocols.
- Configure and manage audit logging, monitoring systems, and network devices.
- Evaluate, implement, and support new technologies and solutions for enterprise systems.
- Provide advanced technical guidance to Tier 1 and 2 support teams.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, system automation scripts, and tools for enterprise systems.
- Provide advanced technical support (Tier 3) for complex system integration issues, vendor implementations, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain compliance with DoD STIGs/SRGs, implement security patches and updates, and support vulnerability scanning, remediation, and cybersecurity validation.
- Design and implement enterprise-wide endpoint management, backup, and recovery solutions, including standard system images and deployment procedures.
- Implement, configure, and maintain secure system and network configurations, including Active Directory infrastructure and enterprise security controls.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE. Applicants MUST have this experience:
- Secret Clearance required (interim accepted)
- 5 years’ experience in systems administration
- Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification (DoDI 8570/8410.3) - must be current and in effect prior to hiring (CISSP, ISACA CISA, CCNP, CASP CE)
- Experience with DoD systems and security requirements
- Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
- Familiarity with associated security tools and practices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Control System experience highly desirable
- Experience with industrial control systems
- Background in HVAC or building automation systems
- Knowledge of RMF processes
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
WORK AUTHORIZATION:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
