Responsibilities
This position will support the Sponsor's Cyber organization, which is responsible for Risk Management and Cyber Security Response. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
- Maintaining a strong awareness of technical trends in information technology, develop and maintain a strong awareness of on-going IT projects, and business unit requirements; be able to apply project management principles to efforts within scope.
- Preparing required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.
- Providing technical direction and advice to government.
- Assisting in establishing standards for information systems procedures.
- Performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, cost estimation, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications / recommendations.
- Conferring with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs a computer program is to address .
- Consulting with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
- Analyze and study complex system requirements .
- Developing analytical and computational techniques and methodology for problem solutions.
- Provide technical guidance in software engineering techniques and automated support tools.
- Presenting at formal meetings and boards.
