Visit arcfield.com for more details. Responsibilities Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Software or Computer Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge secure software and computer solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for staying updated with the latest technological advancements. The candidate will work and collaborate side by side with cross-functional teams and the government technical leads to build and deploy secure solutions supporting various Government and DOD entities. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and test software and hardware capabilities within DOD and commercial environments with an emphasis on cyber security to ensure data protection. Write, debug, and maintain software programs and applications to ensure optimal performance. Integrate hardware and software systems into production environments, ensuring seamless functionality and compatibility. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues to provide effective and timely solutions. Conduct research to stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and deliver high-quality solutions. Qualifications Required Skills and Qualifications: BS in a technical degree - e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security Engineering or equivalent with 0-2 years of experience Strong understanding of computer and software architectures, operating systems, and cybersecurity principles. Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, C , Java or SQL. Experience working with both hardware and software components. Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Highly self-motivated with the ability to take proactive approaches to solve problems The ability to obtain and maintain a DOD SECRET security clearance Preferred Qualifications: Specialization in areas such as artificial intelligence, embedded systems, or cyber security engineering. Relevant certifications or advanced degrees in cyber security, computer engineering or related fields.
