Responsibilities :
The selected candidate will have the subject matter expertise in cyber disciplines to enable the development of system architectures, detailed system designs, and the application of expertise to specific problem areas applicable to the Sponsor. Tasks shall include, but are not limited to the following :
- Advise on vulnerabilities and threats, evaluate relevant intelligence, review white papers for technical feasibility and operation use, advise on developing tools, and assess test data for operational applications
- Coordinate with partners to assist in development of technical tools beneficial to mission needs
- Identify technical, Cl, and operational risks and recommend mitigations
- Study the feasibility and vulnerability of new technical collection capabilities and analyze gaps
- Assess emerging and commercial off the shelf technologies in support of operational requirements and applications
- Assess key vulnerabilities and single points of failure and recommend mitigations
- Evaluate, validate, and analyze technical development compliance with stated requirements
- Integrate, test, verify, and validate end-to-end systems
- Support deployment and operations to production
- Provide analysis, risks, and capabilities for networks and expoitation.
The SME may be required to travel to other locations within the WMA. The SME will be subject to an additional security review process requirement that can take up to 6 weeks.
