What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at ArcFlo?
JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring that all completed ArcFlo products meet customer quality standards through proper testing and inspection. This position will report directly to the Quality Engineer and is located primarily on the manufacturing floor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Test raw material and final products to ensure that finished products meet all customer standards and are completed per print.
· Support electrical technicians in identifying and correcting quality errors.
· Ensuring that the proper quality systems are maintained including documentation and procedures.
· Determine route cause of quality errors with technicians and materials to eliminate future errors.
· Conduct internal quality audits as needed.
· Participates in continuous improvement activities
· Efficiently completes tasks as assigned and or directed by Supervisor
· Flexible, performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, technical education or certifications preferred.
· 3 years of related experience and/or training in quality systems or testing preferred.
Skills, Talents and/or Characteristics
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints required with prior manufacturing experience.
· Strong desire to support Arcflo’s commitment to quality and our customers.
· Exception attention to detail and resolving complex issues with the ability to think critically.
· Ability to uphold our commitment to excellence in a team environment.
· Experience in harness manufacturing preferred.
· Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar Quality Management Systems.
· Basic computer skills, knowledge of Windows and/or Microsoft Office
· Ability to work in a team environment and own processes with minimal oversight.
