Arch Amenities Group, the world's leading spa, fitness and leisure management firm, is seeking an Aquatics Assistant Director. The Aquatics Assistant Director, under the direction of the Aquatics Director, will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the aquatics department; implementing policies and strategic plans for pool usage and staff management; pool and marina management and maintenance; training and supervision of staff; ensuring the highest levels of member satisfaction; and possess the ability to lead and motivate staff to achieve goals and exceed member expectations
Program Administration & Billing:
- Complete monthly invoice reports, ensuring accuracy between member and non-member pricing.
- Schedule private swim lessons and manage the pool schedule to optimize lane usage.
- Process billing for residents' private and group swim lessons and manage registrations.
- Issue refunds when programs are canceled due to pool or facility closures.
Communication & Customer Service:
- Respond to all swim program inquiries via email within 48 business hours.
- Update and maintain marketing materials as needed.
Swim Program & Event Support:
- Assist in coordinating and running Group Swim Evaluations alongside the Aquatics Director.
- Assist with BWST operations, including:
- Billing and registration.
- Certification tracking.
- Planning for travel meets.
- Organizing the year-end banquet.
- Support facility-wide events, including:
- Fiesta 5K/10K
- VillageFest
- Kids Triathlon
Qualifications:
- Experience in swim instruction, aquatics programming, or facility management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage scheduling and billing processes efficiently.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
- Ensures Aquatics Team Members provide a safe and friendly environment for the Members.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Able to lift 45lbs
- Able to sit or stand for entire shift
- Able to work independently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- The employee may be required to push, pull, and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
- Normal work hours: Varied to include early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficient in appropriate computer skills and office equipment.
- This position required the ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, and talk
- The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
