The Arch Amenities Group is seeking a highly motivated and caring Child Care Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our youngest guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities, including games, crafts, and outdoor play
- Maintain open communication with parents through regular updates and reporting
- Ensure confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries at all times
- Monitor and report any signs of abuse or neglect to supervisors
- Create a safe and engaging learning environment that aligns with our program's goals and philosophy
- Cleanliness and organization of the nursery and surrounding areas
- Inspect and replace damaged or lost materials as needed
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a childcare setting
- Valid CPR and Standard First Aid certifications
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing situations
- Demonstrate integrity, dependability, and a strong work ethic
- Effective leadership skills and ability to make sound decisions
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs, and perform various duties simultaneously
