Job Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management:
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure project goals are met.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to keep projects on track.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenditures, and financial reporting.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
- Lead and manage project teams, including internal staff and external vendors.
- Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
- Ensure that all work meets company standards, industry regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
- Prepare and manage contracts with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
- Review and negotiate contract terms and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and records.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, challenges, and accomplishments.
- Collaborate with the facilities team to ensure smooth operation and minimal disruption during project implementation.
- Ensure all projects are completed with minimal impact on ongoing facility operations.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and replacement of network hardware and infrastructure in office LAN rooms to include the coordination with Arch IT partners.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly labeled, documented, and organized within the LAN room.
- Oversee the tracking, documentation, and auditing of IT equipment in LAN rooms, ensuring all assets are accurately recorded in the asset management system and their locations are consistently updated.
- Coordinate equipment lifecycle management: Manage the deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning of IT assets in LAN rooms, including performing regular inspections, facilitating upgrades, and coordinating repairs or replacements to ensure optimal performance and compliance with organizational standards.
- College degree – BA or BS preferred
- 7 – 10 years of relevant project management and IT experience
$97,000 - $150,000/year
- Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
