What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Support 1st shift position at ARCH Cutting Tools?
Summary : Collaborates with the production team to resharpen grinding wheels and assemble wheel packs for use in manufacturing processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Resharpening grinding wheels for use on CNC machines in production.
- Inspecting wheels for signs of excessive wear or defects.
- Operating the wheel dressing machine to remove worn abrasives, smooth rough spots, and sharpen the edges of the wheels.
- Pre-setting wheels according to the specifications outlined in job documentation.
- Ensuring the resharpening process is carried out to maintain consistent production of high-quality parts.
