What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Swiss Programmer position at ARCH Global Precision?
Summary
Operates and maintain CNC equipment. As a CNC Swiss programmer, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting the design specifications, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product. You may also be required to troubleshoot any machine issues that arise during the manufacturing process.

Pay Range : $35-40 / hour, depending upon experience.

Primary Responsibilities
- Reads and interprets technical drawings and CAD model for programming
- Uses CAM Software to program new and existing parts to optimize tool cutting path
- Implements and maintains set up sheets for Manufacturing
- Validates the NC code generated from the CNC program
- Designs fixtures / work holding fixture for machining parts
- Collaborates with Engineering, set-up techs, and Machinists on new product Introduction and continuous improvement activities
- Troubleshoots and resolves programming and machining problems as they arise.
- Assists Engineering / Manufacturing / Quoting as needed

Physical Demands and Work Environment :
While performing the duties of this job, continuous mental and visual attention is needed. The ability to stand for a shift, sit, talk and hear is frequently required. Lifting up to 40 pounds is required. Exposure to manufacturing areas where temperature may vary and personal protective equipment is required.
