What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Support Clerk position at ARCH Medical Solutions - Lehigh Valley?
This position will be responsible for order entry, contract information verification, coordinating vendor services, and order follow-up and processing.
What you’ll do
- Data entry- accurately input customer order details into company database.
- Order Verification- checking for accuracy of order details including quantity, pricing, blueprints, and customer terms and conditions.
- Vendor Interaction- correspond with service vendors on price quotes, lead times, create PO and follow-up on status.
- Collaborate- work within a team to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently and timely.
What you need to thrive in this role
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Computer proficiency- knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Ability to navigate easily between computer programs.
- Strong data entry skills- high accuracy when inputting information
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, ability to anticipate, think ahead and plan.
- Problem-solving skills- ability to identify and resolve order discrepancies.
- Ability to work in a team, strong interpersonal skills, effective communication skills.
- Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction.
- Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
