What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer & Machinist position at ARCH Motorcycle?

- Use
GibbsCam / Fusion 360 CAD/CAM/CAE to program CNC parts.
- Oversee the write, rewrite and optimization all of programs.
- Maintain revision control of programs and setup sheets.
- Knowledgeable of carbide tools, adjusting speed and feed
parameters for maximum tool life.
- Design and machine
fixtures for parts.
- Create a strategy for programming / tooling / fixturing for any new parts.
- Identify how to
better optimize programs to reduce op
times.
- Perform
program overlays as needed to confirm revisions are up
to date.
- Ensure
production goals are efficiently met.
- Able
to setup and probe parts with a RENISHAW probe.
- Communicate with
management and other team members in a professional manner.
- Prove out new programs and ops, troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise from current operations.
- Provide support for the machine shop to set up or swap parts being machined, extending shop production hours.
Requirements
- High school
diploma or equivalency certificate.
- Understanding and
able to write G CODE.
- Setup of parts on the
machine.
- 4 years of
CNC programming experience with GibbsCam, Fusion or
MasterCam.
- Experience with 4 and 5
axis CNC mill machines
- Experience
with CNC lathe machine.
- Experience with
probing parts
- Familiar
with HAAS machines is a plus
- Automotive industry experience is a plus
- Ability to lift 25
lbs. unassisted
- Lifting,
standing, climbing, bending, grasping,
sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and
carrying are generally required to perform the
functions of this position
- Able to
work M-F 9a-6p
- This is an
hourly position
