Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex technical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology, excellent leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role requires a deep understanding of project management methodologies and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Execution:

o Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

o Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

o Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

2. Team Leadership:

o Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.

o Provide guidance and support to team members to overcome challenges and achieve project goals.

o Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

3. Risk and Issue Management:

o Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

o Monitor and address project issues promptly to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.

4. Stakeholder Communication:

o Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.

o Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, risk assessments, and resolution plans.

o Facilitate meetings and presentations to ensure stakeholder alignment and buy-in.

5. Process Improvement:

o Evaluate and refine project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

o Implement best practices and tools to improve project outcomes.

6. Technical Expertise:

o Collaborate with technical teams to ensure project feasibility and alignment with organizational goals.

o Understand technical requirements and communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a technical project management role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale technical projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, MS Project, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and/or enterprise software implementation.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and architecture.
  • Ability to manage distributed teams across different time zones.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $140,000.00 per year
