CNC Machinist

Equipment is modern and the plant is air conditioned! Open position has a 4 day work week Monday - Thursday. 2nd shift position open. Shift premium is $2 per hour. Quarterly and annual bonuses! Ideal Applicants should have machining experience with CNC mills and CNC lathes. Knowledge of blueprint reading and common part inspection practices a must. Knowledge of 5 axis machining or multi-spindle lathes would be a plus. APC provides great benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement, holiday pay and vacation. Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Machining: 2-3 year (Preferred)
• CNC: 2-3 year (Preferred)

Language Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
