Summary:
An experienced Anca operator is a skilled machinist responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Anca CNC grinding machines to produce high-precision cutting tools, ensuring quality control by adhering to detailed specifications, blueprints, and production standards, while maintaining a safe working environment and optimizing production efficiency; requiring in-depth knowledge of Anca machine functionality, tool grinding techniques, and proficiency in interpreting complex engineering drawings.
Load and secure cutting tool blanks onto the machine according to specifications.
Program complex grinding cycles using Anca software, including profile creation, grinding paths, and finishing operations.
Monitor machine performance during grinding operations, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and tolerances.
Proven experience as an Anca operator with a strong understanding of CNC grinding principles.
Proficiency in Anca programming software, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, and knowledge of precision measuring tools.
Commitment to maintaining high quality standards and attention to detail.
Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and identify solutions to production challenges.
Inspect finished cutting tools for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and conformity to design specifications using precision measuring tools.
Identify and address quality issues promptly, implementing corrective actions to maintain consistent quality standards.
Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process.
Understand and apply advanced grinding techniques for various cutting tool geometries.
Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor maintenance tasks.
Stay updated on new Anca software features and technological advancements.
Machine Setup and Operation:
Accurately set up Anca grinding machines based on work orders, including selecting the appropriate grinding wheels, tooling, and parameters.
