Job Title: Grinding & Honing CNC Machinist 3 (Medical Devices)
Department: Production, Machining
Shift: 1st (6:00 am – 2:30 pm), 2nd (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm) or 3rd (10:00 pm – 6:30 am)
Reports To: Machine Supervisor
Machine Types: Cincinnati Centerless Grinder (#2 OM): manual and CNC; Sunnen; Engis SPM 8000 Honing; Reed-Rico Knurling
Software & Computer Skills: ERP knowledge (Epicor is preferred), Microsoft Office

Essential Duties And Qualifications
- 3-5 years of honing and grinding experience in a manufacturing environment with tight tolerances (medical, aerospace, and similar).
- Strong hand and eye dexterity and a steady hand to ensure you can safely and properly operate the machines.
- Lifting up to 30 to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to use various hand tools, various equipment (CNC and manual) and fixtures.
- Deals with grinding coolants, cleaning fluids and oils.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
- Proficient using gauges, micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, and other measuring tools.
- Proficient knowledge of GD&T.
- Responsible for maintaining work area cleanliness at all times.
- Helps reduce scrap, cost, time.
- Maintains positive work environment.
- Reliable, timely and consistent attendance.
