Summary
The Manufacturing Engineering Associate provides direct support to the Manufacturing Engineering Team by assisting with documentation, process improvements, validation activities, and technical troubleshooting. This role will focus on optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to the successful execution of engineering projects.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions:
- Support documentation efforts, including Work Instructions, Travelers, Inspection Reports, Tool Sheets, Shop Drawings and Change Orders.
- Analyze process outputs using statistical methods. Participate in data collection, root cause investigation, analysis and reporting, to support process improvements, stability and efficiency.
- Assist with maintaining control of electronic files, including Machine Programs & Tool Sheets, Shop Drawings, NPI Documentation, Protocols and Reports.
- Aid in the development and execution of validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ).
- Help investigate, recommend, and justify new technologies, tooling, and equipment to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for tooling and material procurement, as well as outside processing of manufactured parts.
- Support employee training efforts related to new processes and procedures.
- Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Required Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field) OR equivalent technical experience.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Familiarity with CNC machining, metal cutting, and process optimization.
- Experience with process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) and statistical analysis.
