What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineering Intern {H} position at ARCH?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with CNC Process Engineering, Production, Buyer Planner, and Operations Manager to create Time Studies, Recommend Shop Routing Updates, Update routings and Op drawings, verify tool sheets, and all applicable quality documents.
- Work with Manufacturing Engineering in Assembly area to provide drafting of drawings, product specifications, bill of materials, operation / assembly drawings, and other documentation necessary to manufacture products.
- Work with Quality Engineering to document material, machined, purchased, and assembled parts, tools and gage certifications.
- Lead / Participate in 5S Projects
- Responsible for assuring that assigned activities are performed in accordance with AMS - Newtown Quality System procedures.
- Provides communication between Engineering and Operations
- Identifies need for established work procedure and standardized method
- Identifies need for training and communicates need to appropriate manager

Required Education:
• Candidate for Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering preferred
Required Experience:
Less than 3 years of College experience required
Strong Mechanical aptitude
Intern experience in manufacturing environment preferred
