Job Description:
The Church exists to evangelize and share the Good News with all.
Core Mission Priorities:
- Encounter: Building relationships with Christ
- Accompaniment: Supporting youth and young adults on their faith journey
Key Responsibilities:
Youth Ministry (Middle School):
Provides outreach and ministry through social, educational, spiritual activities, social justice, service, and outreach opportunities.
- Recruits adults for leadership roles
- Develops and coordinates a program for middle school students
High School Ministry:
Develops and coordinates a youth and young adult ministry program for high school studies.
- Provides social, educational, spiritual activities, social justice, service, and outreach opportunities
- Recruits and develops youth and adult leadership
Young Adult Ministry:
Assists in developing and nurturing young adults 18-35 years old to grow in discipleship.
- Encourages participation in parish life
- Recruits peer ministers to minister to children/youths
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Theology, Religious Education, or Youth Ministry preferred
- Current catechist certification or willingness to obtain further education in the field of Ministry
- Must be a practicing Catholic with an active commitment to the Church's mission
- Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years experience in ministry or managing a youth program
- Experience with Flocknote and Ministry Platform a plus
