Custodian Job Description
Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish in Baltimore County, Middle River is seeking a part-time Custodian. This position involves overseeing and performing routine maintenance of parish buildings and property.
Essential Functions
- Cleans the Church, parish office, community spaces, and mission buildings.
- Sweeps, vacuums, mops, and waxes floors as needed.
- Selects equipment and materials for cleaning, replenishes supplies in buildings as needed.
Position Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid Maryland driver's license with no more than 3 points.
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety standards for use of cleaning equipment and products preferred.
- Practicing Catholic preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly rate for this position is $17. The benefits package includes health, dental, and vision coverage, employer-paid life and disability insurance, and generous paid holiday, sick, and vacation leave.
