Pre-K Lead Teacher School Year

The Archdiocese of Baltimore is seeking a Pre-K Lead Teacher. She / he will be accountable for the care and supervision of children. Their primary responsibilities are the safety and well-being of children in their care, but they also provide instruction and educational support in preparation for Kindergarten. The job opening is at St. Alphonsus Rodriguez Parish Preschool in Woodstock, Maryland.

Essential Functions :

• Leads the classroom staff to implement a program of instruction that adheres to the school's philosophy, goals, and objectives
• Takes initiative in the classroom, and prepares the learning environment daily, including centers and activities
• Maintains a clean and organized classroom daily
• Leads classroom management and orderly transitions
• Uses positive words and actions in all communication and interaction with the students
• Implements daily activities with children
• Prepare crafts and activities
• Prepare a learning environment daily including centers and activities
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administration
• Assist with snack, lunch, and rest time

Position Qualifications :

Range : $20.00, Hourly ($41,600 Annualized)

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and / or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
