The Campus Minister nurtures students' spiritual growth and strengthens our Catholic identity by integrating faith, Catholic Social Teaching, and social justice into school life. Through liturgies, retreats, service, and leadership development, the Campus Minister fosters a vibrant, multicultural faith community
where young women become compassionate, faith-driven leaders dedicated to justice and service.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Liturgical Planning & Faith Formation
- Plan inclusive, student-led Masses, prayer services, and school-wide celebrations of liturgical seasons and Catholic holidays (e.g., All Saints Day, Ash Wednesday, Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe).
- Guide students in incorporating themes of justice, dignity, and cultural traditions into worship.
- Work with student leaders to ensure diverse voices, music, and reflections are represented in prayer experiences.
- Ensure Catholic identity is woven throughout school life, fostering a culture of prayer, reflection, and faith in action.
2. Retreat Coordination
- Lead grade-level retreats focused on faith, justice, and community:
- Freshwomen: One-day, on-campus community-building retreat.
- Sophomores: Service-focused day with afternoon reflection.
- Juniors: Overnight retreat.
- Seniors: Kairos retreat.
- Design retreat content to honor the multicultural identities of Tepeyac students, encouraging reflection on faith, identity, and leadership.
3. Service-Learning Program
- Oversee the school’s service program, ensuring students connect faith to meaningful action in the community.
- Partner with local organizations representing Tepeyac’s diverse neighborhood for service opportunities rooted in Catholic values.
- Guide student reflection on service experiences, encouraging a deeper understanding of justice, dignity, and systemic change.
- Support Mobile Serve tracking of service hours and help coordinate the annual Day of Giving, framing service as a faith response.
4. Campus Ministry Leadership Team (CMLT)
- Lead and mentor the CMLT, empowering a diverse group of students to serve as faith leaders and advocates.
- Organize an in-school leadership retreat centered on leadership, service, and Catholic Social Teaching.
- Facilitate weekly CMLT meetings, focusing on prayer, leadership development, and planning for faith-based school events.
5. Teaching
Teach the Senior Service Project class, guiding students through service projects that address systemic injustice and reflect Catholic values of human dignity and solidarity.

and nurturing young women’s Catholic identity.

This position has an annualized salary range of - $42,000 - $48,000. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
