Position : Kindergarten Nature Teacher (Part-Time)
Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori is seeking a part-time Nature Teacher to lead our Kindergarten Nature class for the 25-26 school year. At Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori, we value nature and the outdoors in many ways. We enjoy a beautiful 13-acre campus with rolling hills, a flowing creek, nature trail, and a natural playscape. The main purpose of the Kindergarten Nature Class is to keep young children curious and interested in nature and the great outdoors. It seeks to touch on the young child’s innate appreciation of nature and stir in the child a love of exploration and learning about God’s Creation.
The class meets on Friday afternoons from 12 : 30 to 3 : 00pm.
Qualifications :
- The ideal candidate will possess a love of nature and a desire to explore the outdoors with children.
- A valid teaching license or a non-tax alternative is required.
- Candidate must follow Archdiocesan guidelines for safe environment training and pass a background check.
- Montessori experience is not required.
