We're seeking a dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team at Christ the King Roman Catholic School for the 2025-2026 school year. Christ the King’s Preschool program provides a safe and consistent care for our students. The successful candidate will plan and implement a curriculum that aligns with the Archdiocese of Denver’s Preschool guidelines, ensuring a nurturing and developmentally appropriate classroom environment based on the Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale.
Key Responsibilities
-
Know, teach, and act consistently in accordance with the mission, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Catholic school. Follow the Archdioceses of Denver Guidelines for Preschool learners.

Plan and implement the classroom curriculum/activities within the guidelines of the school’s policies, procedures and curriculum following the guidelines set forth by the Archdiocese of Denver of Preschool Curriculum.

Maintain classroom environment according to the guidelines of the Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale.

Maintain confidentially regarding students, families, staff, program details, and confidential school information

Maintain required training, certification and/or credentialing
-
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians, colleagues, and principal, including conducting parent/teacher conferences as scheduled or when arranged
-
Participate in all Archdiocese of Denver in-service and training programs, and participate in all local school sponsored professional development and training programs and initiatives unless exempted or excused by principal

Follow established procedures to ensure the safety and welfare of students

Evaluate and assess students’ ongoing growth and development

Perform other duties as assigned by the school principal
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
Education and Experience:
-
Must be ECE Qualified or have an undergraduate degree (any field) with experience working with children
-
Current early childhood professional Credential Level II Version 1.0 or 2.0 as determined by the Colorado Department of Education. (Includes 1820 hours of verified experience, ECE 101 and ECE 103)

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a preschool or similar field.

Must have understanding of child development skills necessary to relate to the students being taught

Must have appropriate control and discipline techniques to successfully manage a classroom

Salary : $40,180 - $65,000
