Description

● Minimum - No degree is required, however, hiring preference will be given to people
with degrees, experience, and certifications that support this employment position.

Qualifications
The paraprofessional job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
● All responsibilities are to be in line with the Catholic mission of the Parish, the school,
and state licensing.
● Work one on one with student to support academic and personal needs
● Escort and support student in physically moving from space to space throughout the
school day
● Support student at lunch/snack time with help in opening, unpacking, and eating lunch
(student can self feed)
● In conjunction with learning support team, work one on one with student to meet
individualized learning goals by facilitating meaningful lessons and activities
● Respond to student cues when student is all done or needs a break from general
education classroom
● Change student for bathroom needs
● Effectively communicate with student’s family on a daily basis at arrival/dismissal
● Collaborate with classroom teacher and specials teacher to modify lessons for student
● Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technology as it pertains to enhancing student
learning and communication among the school staff and families.
● Participate in professional development opportunities that bolster both individual goals
and school-wide goals.
● Be punctual and maintain consistent attendance.
● Participation in all aspects of liturgical celebrations during the school day.
● Serve as a model of Catholic faith for the students and represent the teachings of the
Catholic Church.
● Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the Family Handbook, Faculty Handbook,
and Staff Handbook.
● Serve this school in the position and in the specific duties assigned by the Principal.
Established policies, rules and regulations expressed by the school and the Principal
shall be part of the professional procedure together with the applicable rules and
regulations of the Archdiocese of Denver and the School Handbook.
Salary : $20 - $23
