Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Facilities Manager responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the parish facilities. Duties include daytime janitorial work, as well as grounds upkeep and maintenance tasks and repairs. The ideal candidate will ensure that our spaces are safe, welcoming, and conducive to worship and community activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of church facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Manage budgets related to facility operations and maintenance
- Liaise with contractors and service providers for repairs and renovations
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for facility operations
- Complete ongoing custodial functions
- Foster a positive and welcoming environment for all church members and visitors
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field
- Basic understanding of facilities systems and processes such as: boiler/chiller servicing & operations, electrical motor controls, audiovisual, electrical distribution, and plumbing systems
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of building maintenance, safety regulations, and compliance standards
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community members
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events

Hours
- Monday - Friday
- 7:00am - 4:00pm
- Must be available in emergencies on a 24-hour basis
- Full-time; possibility of earning overtime pay
Anticipated Start Date
- June 1, 2025
Salary Range
- $55,000-$60,000/year
