What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Art Teacher position at Archdiocese of Detroit?
Shrine Catholic Grade School is located in Royal Oak, MI at the corner of 12 Mile Rd and Woodward Avenue. QUALIFICATIONS:
All candidates shall be certified and/or approved for teaching by the Department of Education for the State of Michigan. All teachers are required to hold the appropriate endorsement for the subject(s) they are assigned to teach. All teachers who are catechist (teachers of religion) must be certified by the Department of Evangelization, Catechesis and Schools.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, with an up-to-date Michigan Teaching Certificate
- Highly capable of teaching beginning as well as advanced art classes
- Demonstrates professional and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with all students, parents and school personnel.
- Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills
