Responsibilities
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum and Michigan state standards.
- Integrate Catholic teachings and values into instruction and daily interactions.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Foster a positive, faith-filled, and structured classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to support student learning and growth.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues and administration to enhance the school community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- Valid Michigan teaching certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Practicing Catholic strongly preferred; commitment to Catholic education required.
- Experience in early childhood or elementary education preferred.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
