Middle School ELA Teacher

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Middle School ELA Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English Language Arts to students in grades 6-8. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong commitment to student success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and meet the needs of all students
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students and parents
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid Michigan teaching certification in Middle School ELA
- Experience teaching English Language Arts to middle school students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
