Position: Track & Field Boys and Girls Assistant Coach
Description: Bishop Foley Catholic seeks an Assistant Coach for the Boys and Girls Varsity
Track & Field program. The coach must have a desire to transform and shape the lives of
student-athletes in a positive manner in line with the mission of Bishop Foley Catholic High
School.
Essential Tasks:
● Assist in building a coaching staff/Scheduling games
● Emphasis on throwing and hurdles coach
● Work and coordinate with the Varsity program and coaches
● Player development
● Off-season and in-season workouts
● Developing game and practice plans
● Film study and/or mechanical correction
● Scouting
● Equipment handout and return
● Maintain field/game day prep
● Player Promotion
● Continuing education
● Attending BFC’s annual open house
● Coordinate with Head Coach on running a summer camp

Qualifications/Requirements:
MHSAA CAP level 1 or 2 certification
Protecting God’s Children training through AOD
Member of MHSSCA Coaching Association preferred, but not required.
Current CPR certification, and background check.
Salary dependent on qualifications.
Previous Varsity-Level coaching preferred but not required.
