What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interventionist position at Archdiocese of Indianapolis?
St. Mark Catholic School is a highly diverse Pre-Kindergarten through 8th-grade private school on the south side of Indianapolis. Since 1948 St. Mark Catholic School has welcomed students of all backgrounds to allow students to grow in their academics, social skills, and most importantly faith in God.
We have a culture of meeting all students where they are to meet their needs, including a large percentage of ELL and Special Education students. We currently have three interventionists that help to provide assistance for our students and teachers. This position will work with the Intervention team as well as collaborate with a team of middle school teachers, primarily LA and Math, to service students in grades 6-8 who are in need of additional support. This includes English Language Learners, students with special needs, and students with foundational gaps.
