What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resource Instructional Aide position at Archdiocese of Indianapolis?
The Resource Instructional Aide assists teachers in the delivery of educational and behavioral interventions of Special Education students. This position works collaboratively by assisting teachers and specialists in assessment, academic and instructional support, student interactions, enforcing safe behaviors, and enhancing social growth of students in the school setting. Due to the varied and individual needs of each student, Special Education Aides may provide a variety of support and assistance, and should be flexible.
Delivers educational interventions designed by Special Education teachers to help students meet educational, academic, life skill, behavioral, social and emotional goals.
Communicates effectively with staff, students, and/or parents regarding needs and concerns.
Provides direct assistance to the teacher in such activities as:
