Position Summary
Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church is seeking a Capital Campaign Coordinator to lead and implement a successful capital campaign in support of parish growth, ministry expansion, and debt reduction. This individual will work closely with the pastor, parish leadership, volunteers, and donors to ensure the campaign's success through strategic planning, fundraising efforts, and community engagement.
Responsibilities
Feasibility & Planning
Conduct internal feasibility reviews to assess fundraising potential and parish readiness.
Help develop campaign materials and conduct confidential interviews with key stakeholders.
Analyze and study data to prepare a comprehensive report with findings and recommendations.
Campaign Implementation
Oversee all aspects of the capital campaign, ensuring alignment with parish goals.
Establish and manage campaign efforts in collaboration with the parish office, including training volunteer support staff if needed.
Develop promotional materials such as brochures, newsletters, and digital content.
Coordinate recruitment, training, and oversight of campaign leadership and volunteers.
Manage donor engagement strategies, including personal solicitations and special events.
Maintain accurate records of contributions and donor relationships.
Prepare and present progress reports to parish leadership and provide recommendations for follow-up efforts.
Community Engagement & Communication
Strengthen relationships with parishioners, major donors, and the wider community.
Utilize various communication channels to update and inspire the parish about the campaign.
Serve as a spokesperson for the campaign at parish gatherings and meetings.
Additional Duties
Assist with marketing, outreach, and stewardship efforts.
Collaborate with parish staff, committees, and external fundraising consultants.
Qualifications
Faith & Mission Alignment:
o Active Catholic faith with a commitment to the Church's mission and values.
Education & Experience:
o Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Communications, Nonprofit Management,
or related field).
o Experience in fundraising, public speaking, leadership, sales, or nonprofit
management.
Skills & Competencies:
o Strong organizational and communication skills.
o Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook).
o Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
o Enthusiastic, goal-oriented, and mission-driven approach to fundraising.
