POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position : Secretary (Part-Time)
Department : Office for Lifelong Faith Formation
Reports To : Director
Classification : Non-Exempt
General Description
Acts as secretary and staff support for the Office for Lifelong Faith Formation including the director, two associate directors and one coordinator. The Secretary is present in the office 2 days per week for 5 hours per day. Schedule can be flexible as mutually arranged.
Hours per week : 10
Specific Duties / Responsibilities
The following specific responsibilities are representative of the duties required in this position. They may be unilaterally but reasonably changed based on the working environment and departmental needs.
Assist with database maintenance for Parish Catechetical Leader and Catechist formation records :
- Enters data from Annual Parish Catechetical Report
- Updates PCL Database as needed based on new information gathered from parishes
- Maintains Learning Management System catechist formation information
- Responds to requests from PCLs and catechists regarding certification information
Assists with office finances :
Other administrative responsibilities :
Including registration, hospitality, and communications with participants
