Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Manage library collection and book fairs
Teach students literacy skills
Integrate library resources into the curriculum
Teach technology etiquette and safety online
Introduce students to researching methods
Promote the love of reading

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

Collaborate with classroom teachers and other specialists

Have strong classroom management skills

Ability to work well with students in PreK-8

Education and Experience :

Safe Environment certified

Hold a Nebraska Teaching Certificate (or a provisional), preferably endorsed in library media (or willing to seek endorsement)
