Key Responsibilities
Communications
- Content Creation: Develop and oversee the creation of compelling content, including Parish bulletins, email and text communications, social media posts, press releases, and annual reports.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication platforms.
- Digital Outreach: Manage the organization’s website and social media presence, optimizing for engagement and growth.
- Storytelling: Gather and share impactful stories from the field to inspire donor support and community involvement.
- Strategy Development: Design and implement annual and multi-year fundraising strategies aligned with Parish goals.
- Donor Engagement: Cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors, including individuals, churches, foundations, and corporate partners.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, including events, Parish giving, and major donor initiatives.
- Grant Writing: Research, write, and manage grant proposals and reports to institutional funders.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate donor records and analyze data to inform fundraising strategies.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with Parish staff, Hub Director and other constituencies to align fundraising and communication efforts with Parish priorities.
- Volunteer Management: Oversee volunteer teams supporting fundraising and communication activities.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Pastor and Hub and Board on fundraising progress and communication initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, communications, or related roles, preferably within a faith-based or nonprofit organization.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Proven track record of meeting fundraising goals and managing donor relationships.
- Proficiency with donor management systems (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge) and digital marketing tools.
- Knowledge of or experience in mission work and alignment with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Compliance with Safe Environment policies.
- Passion for their life as a Catholic, including a committed prayer life and frequent reception of the sacraments.

- Some nights and weekends will be required.
