Saint Albert the Great Parish in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time professional to direct the parish's vibrant Religious Education program (CCD and Family Catechesis Model) and sacramental preparation for the parish school. The responsibilities include maintenance of records, communications, and related administrative tasks. The DRE manages the recruiting, training, and ongoing formation of catechists in all CCD and faith formation programs in accordance with Archdiocesan Safe Environment standards. The DRE also directs faculty retreats for the parish school and assists in the planning of school liturgies. The DRE would also provide various adult Bible studies and ongoing adult faith formation opportunities for the parish community throughout the year.
The successful candidate will be a practicing Catholic in good standing who is committed to the teachings of the Catholic faith, and will have an understanding of and a commitment to the mission of the Parish. A Bachelor's degree in Theology or Religious Education and a minimum of 3 years of parish level religious education experience is required as well as strong technological and communication skills.
