GENERAL INTRODUCTION:
The archbishop, visible principle of unity in his archdiocese, is called to build up the particular Church unceasingly in the communion of all its members, and to ensure that their diverse gifts and ministries, in union with the universal Church, serve to build up all the faithful and to spread the Gospel. (Apostolorum Successores 8). He must take care that all the affairs which belong to the administration of the whole archdiocese are duly coordinated and are ordered to attain more suitably the good of the portion of the people of God entrusted to him. (Apostolorum Successores 177).
Each position employed in the Chancery helps to extend the ministry of the archbishop in particular ways as outlined in the position description.
GENERAL SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL PURPOSE:
The Communications Project Manager supports the coordination and implementation of the archdiocesan communication strategy locally at the Chancery and throughout the Archdiocese of Seattle.
ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES:

Oversees project and process management for Communication team.
- Ensures Communication team plans and executes integrated campaigns across graphics, editorial and digital content teams.
- Acts as the main point of contact between the Communications team and Chancery stakeholders for all campaign details.
- Acts as the primary interface between the team and Communications Creative Studio for campaign design elements and asset creation. This includes meeting regularly with key ministry leaders and trafficking requests for the Communications team.
- Responsible for maintaining Communications campaign project management tool.
- Runs campaign planning meetings for the Communications team.
- Participates in planning discussions for significant campaigns to assign and track key milestones and dates.
- Reports out metrics and analysis of campaign performance as needed to inform communications work.
- Provides other support for Communications team as needed.
- Campaign management
- Owner of campaign brief template and process.
- Acts as the campaign lead for a variety of annual, unique and ongoing campaigns. This may include developing basic messaging, content and promotion plans.
- Collects campaign details from stakeholders through a campaign brief intake form.
- Tracks recurring campaigns and proactively requests needed updates from stakeholders.
- Adds campaign events to the archdiocesan website.
Assists others on team with tracking down essential campaign information
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Primary:
- Willingness and ability to support the mission of the Church by extending the ministry of the archbishop.
- Ability and desire to use God-given gifts and talents in service of the local Church in support of the collaboration between lay and ordained Ministers.
Education:
- Bachelors degree preferred
Experience:
- 4-5 years of professional experience.
- Previous experience working with a marketing or communications team preferred.
- Project or process management experience required.
- Highly articulate individual with excellent written communications and experience leading meetings and presenting.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, design software, project management tools and ability to learn new programs.
- Experience with project management software preferred, such as Monday.com or others.
- Experience with reporting performance metrics across platforms including website, social media, etc.
- Experience with customer service or hospitality roles a plus.

- Strong people and customer service skills with the ability to relay information in diplomatic ways.

- Demonstrated flexibility in running multiple simultaneous projects in a varied pace environment.
- Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Analytical skills with excel and reporting experience.
- Design and MailChimp experience a plus.
- Familiarity with current digital marketing best practices and concepts.
