Communication and Events Coordinator
POSITION PURPOSE : Provides logistics of the parish calendar for the pastor and staff and communication and event services in support of the Pastor, parish and its activities.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
- Works directly with the Pastor and staff on the parish calendar and logistics. Keeps updated at all times and alerts those needed, with any changes.
- Willingness to use our database and parish app for process queues and communications.
- Provides support and serves as the Event Liaison for parish events.
- Prepares communications for digital platforms – Facebook, Website, Flocknote, Bulletin, Email.
- Serves as liaison and public relations representative between the parish and the Faith on Fire committee. Includes marketing, registration, scheduling and other duties as assigned.
- Assists in communicating Parish and Faith Formation schedule and special events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
