Job Summary:
The Computer Teacher provides instruction in digital literacy, computer applications, and coding to students at various grade levels. The teacher integrates technology into the curriculum and helps students develop skills necessary for academic and career success in a digital world.
Job Responsibilities
- Teach students foundational and advanced computer skills, including typing, coding, internet safety, and digital citizenship.
- Develop engaging lessons that integrate technology across subject areas.
- Support students in using various software programs, educational platforms, and productivity tools.
- Maintain and troubleshoot basic technology issues in the classroom.
- Stay updated on emerging educational technologies and integrate them into instruction.
- Collaborate with teachers to incorporate technology into lesson plans.
- Promote responsible technology use and digital literacy among students.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Teaching certification required; technology endorsement preferred.
