The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area. Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
Job Summary
Work closely with the Senior Pastor providing financial information.
Work closely with the Finance Council attending all meetings and providing financial information.
Work closely with Archdiocese Shared Accountant on all aspects of the parish accounting needs.
Job Responsibilities
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Review and code all check requests and invoices and then give to Bookkeeper to process
TUITION & RECEIVABLES
Establishing tuition rates for upcoming school year
Run FACTS reports 2x per month and send to Shared Accountant
BUDGET
Preparing parish budget for upcoming fiscal year
PARISH ORGANIZATIONS
Liaison between Shared Accounting and Parish organizations
PAYROLL
Backup to bookkeeper who :
Collected time sheets
Review for signatures
Enter payroll information into Citrix Payroll to process
CASH BOX
Balance petty cash (as often as needed and on June 15th as a minimum).
Request check to replenish box and submit receipts to Archdiocese Shared Accountant
PARISH ORGANIZATIONS
File applications for all permits and licenses as required for the event
Liquor License
Food Permit
Parade Permit
Picnic, Fish Fry, Auction, Trivia Night, Blacklight Bingo, other parish events as needed
ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL
Assist lay personnel with necessary information as it relates to the Annual Catholic Appeal
Assist lay personnel with necessary information as it relates to the Stewardship campaign
HUMAN RESOURCES
Liaison between parish employees and Archdiocese HR department
Prepare and distribute any policy changes relating to HR
Work with Pastor on determining parish holidays
Prepare new-hire, termination and retirement paperwork as needed
DAY SCHOOL
Determine tuition rates for K-8 with Senior Pastor, Principal and Shared Accountant
Prepare / update / revise school enrollment forms with Senior Pastor and Principal
Submit them to the Finance Council and School Board for approval
Once approved, submit to school office to distribute to parents.
STEWARDSHIP
Reconcile FACTS SIS Enrollment numbers to FACTS Finance Billing to make sure all students have been charged
Enter tuition charges, credits and payments into FACTS
Work with finance council on determining financial aid awards.
Once determinations are made, send notification to families
PRESCHOOL
Determine tuition rates for Pre-K with Senior Pastor, Principal and Shared Accountant
Prepare / update / revise school enrollment forms with Senior Pastor and Principal
Submit them to the Finance Council and School Board for approval
Once approved, submit to school office to distribute to parents.

ADMINISTRATIVE / ETC
Administrative Privileges for Servant Keeper.
Attend monthly maintenance meetings when possible
Attend fiscal and calendar year-end meetings at Archdiocese
Review current vendor contracts and negotiate when necessary
Senior Pastor signs all contracts and agreements when needed
