Job Summary
The President of Bishop DuBourg High School serves as an outward-facing entrepreneur, responsible for strategic planning, relationship-building, and resource development to advance the school’s mission. This executive leadership role ensures the effective operation of the school while fostering external relations, financial sustainability, and a strong Catholic identity. The President oversees business operations, advancement, marketing, facilities, and Board of Directors leadership while collaborating closely with the School Administration on educational initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Advancement & Development
- Lead fundraising, securing major gifts & alumni contributions with the Advancement Office.
- Support alumni relations, special events, athletics, and marketing in fundraising & engagement.
- Oversee stakeholder events & annual giving campaigns, ensuring donor stewardship.
- Cultivate major donor & community partnerships for financial sustainability.
Strategic Leadership & Board Engagement
- Develop & execute a five-year strategic plan with the board & administration.
- Recruit & engage alumni to strengthen the board & boost enrollment/donations.
- Oversee teams for faith formation, donor development, strategy & finances.
Faith Formation & Catholic Identity
- Model Christian values & promote a faith-centered culture.
- Support student & faculty spiritual programs via Campus Ministry.
- Uphold school philosophy, mission & Archdiocesan Catholic Identity policies.
Business & Financial Management
- Oversee tuition, budgeting & financial reporting with the Business Manager.
- Manage scholarships, tuition aid & grants for student access.
- Supervise facilities, food service, tech, extracurriculars & athletics.
- Approve vendor contracts for cost-effective operations.
Public Relations & Marketing
- Represent Bishop DuBourg High School to the Archdiocese, parish schools, alumni & community.
- Lead marketing, branding & communications to drive enrollment & engagement.
- Attend professional, religious & social events to maintain external presence.
HR & Organizational Leadership
- Supervise senior staff & administration for strong operations.
- Oversee faculty & staff development, evaluations & strategic improvements.
- Ensure ethical HR practices aligned with Archdiocesan policies.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Practicing Catholic with a commitment to faith-based education and Catholic values.
- Proven leadership experience in education, nonprofit management, or business administration.
- Strong financial acumen, fundraising experience, and the ability to develop strategic partnerships.
- Excellent communication, public relations, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in Board of Directors leadership, enrollment management, and institutional advancement.
