St. Patrick Center provides opportunities for self-sufficiency and dignity to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Individuals and families build permanent, positive change in their lives through safe and affordable housing, sound mental and physical health, and employment and financial stability.
Working collaboratively with individuals, businesses, government and other service providers, St. Patrick Center will end chronic homelessness in the St. Louis region through Housing First, an evidence-based practice that tells us to remove barriers, do intake and assessment early, move people into housing and offer them support to achieve their goals.
Job Summary
St. Patrick Center, a ministry of Catholic Charities, is hiring a Weekend Greeter to welcome participants of the Shamrock Club program. We are seeking an individual who understands the barriers of mental illness, is familiar with resources in the surrounding areas, and can foster a sense of community with anyone who enters the building. This position is not eligible for benefits, and works a maximum of 19 hours per week. The working hours are Saturday and Sunday from 8 : 00 am to 2 : 30 pm. The wage for this position is $15.00 to $20.00 an hour.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor program entrance to ensure entry of program participant only.
- Sustain accurate record-keeping for all written documents.
- Participate and monitor weekend or holiday activities of Shamrock Club
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Adhere to policy concerning work hours, building security, and all written personnel standards.
- Uphold the care model by communicating and integrating with all programs at St. Patrick Center.
- Ability to assist staff in development of therapeutic relationship with clients.
- Assist staff in client crisis.
- Other duties as assigned.

Pre-Employment Screening
