Position Summary
St. Patrick Center, a ministry of Catholic Charities, is seeking a Program Manager for our Women's Night Program. We are looking for a dedicated individual to oversee all operations of the Women's Night Program and manage staff to ensure exceptional care for all participants. As the Program Manager, you will provide support to staff regarding participant needs and implement innovative strategies that aid participants on their journey toward stability and self-sufficiency. We are searching for a professional who is passionate about creating long-term change and providing stability to vulnerable populations. In this role, you will also oversee budgeting and the grant process to ensure the necessary resources are received. The core working hours for this position are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $70,000 a year.
Overview & Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule Women’s Night Program staff.
- Provide individual counseling and assist with case management for the clients in the Women’s Night Program.
- Manage all program activities input into HMIS systems CaseWorthy and ServicePoint.
- Act as liaison with the Housing Resource Center following referrals.
- Complete all reports related to grants received from grant funders.
- Carry out specific grant requirements.
- Provide counseling, case management and crisis intervention for clients.
- Provide initial and ongoing assessment of clients’ progress and needs and update monthly.
- Handle case management tasks as part of the case management team.
- Coordinate services with behavioral health staff.
- Oversee budget and implement spending based on program and client need.
- Refer clients to appropriate community agencies, assisting clients when needed.
- Understand and implement the coordinated entry process.
- Provide ongoing assessments utilizing the VI-SPDAT and SPDAT.
- Advocate for women in the program.
- Rotate weekly on call schedule with case manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, or related area.
- Supervisory experience.
- Trauma Informed Care Trained.
- Requires Class E Driver License (MO residents only).
- Requires valid and current auto insurance.
- Requires reliable vehicle.
- CPR/AED/First Aid Trained
- Work a minimum of 37.5 hours a week
Skills & Competencies Required
- Experience in counseling and case management.
- Understanding of mental illness and chemical dependency.
- Willingness to alter work schedule to monitor overnight program.
- Understand workforce demands and adapt to workforce tasks.
- Counseling and crisis intervention expertise
- Knowledge of trauma related therapies
- Self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as team player, especially with partner agencies and build productive relationships.
- Ability to work with highly diversified workforce and have understanding and knowledge of cultural diversity.
- Recognize personal strengths and limitations regarding time, skill, and knowledge.
- Ability to work with clients that struggle with Substance Use and Severe and Persistent Mental Illnesses.
- Ability to set professional boundaries and limits with clients.
- Ability to engage new clients and assess persons and situations.
Resources for which Accountable
- Recruits, interviews, hires, trains WNP staff (Case Manager and Night Assistants).
- Oversees the daily workflow of the WNP Program.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with agency policy
