Our community works daily to think critically, creatively, and morally so that we can serve God with purpose.Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate all aspects of the Boys Soccer program.Support and implement the philosophy of Archbishop Carroll Athletics as outlined by the President.Ensure compliance with all school, conference (WCAC), and DCSAA rules and regulations.Supervise assistant coaches and provide mentorship for player development.Recruit and retain student-athletes who embody the mission of Archbishop Carroll.Schedule and oversee team practices, competitions, transportation, and appearances at school events (e.g., open houses, off-season training, and camps).Maintain inventory and proper upkeep of uniforms and equipment.Monitor and support student-athlete academic performance, including coordination with academic support services.Work closely with the Athletic Trainer to ensure all players meet medical certification requirements.Report all athletic injuries and incidents promptly.Attend and participate in school, WCAC, and DCSAA meetings relevant to the soccer program.Supervision & Scheduling: Oversee practice schedules, scrimmages, and games as directed by the Athletic Director.Assist in securing referees and processing game-related fees.Qualifications: Experience coaching high school-level soccer.2 years of coaching experience in soccer (preferably at the high school or club level).Must be at least 21 years of age.Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to foster a culture of discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.Must pass background check, fingerprinting, CPR certification, and Virtus Online Training (https://www.virtusonline.org/virtus/).This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and mission-driven school community while making a meaningful impact on student-athletes.
