Job Title: Team Lead

Plant/Division: Upper Sandusky Ohio

Shift: 2nd Shift

The job description is as follows:

Summary/Objective

· To assist production in obtaining daily goals

· Train team members on IWI’s and various jobs

· Demonstrate leadership and promote teamwork among team members

· Assist Supervisor as required in completing daily tasks

Essential Functions

· Lead by example providing a clean and safe work environment.

· Perform training for team members as directed by Supervisor.

· Understand and operate utilizing work instructions and standards.

· Be competent in the performance of all production-related operations.

· Understand and teach acceptable quality standards.

· Fill in for production team members as needed.

· Communicate with supervisor daily on all miscellaneous items on the floor such as issues/concerns/problems.

· Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.

· Participates on committees and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 35 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. 40 hours a week with overtime when necessary.
